SOLAR - 24 YEARS OLD - HE/IT - WHITE - TME GENDERQUEER TRANS GUY - PANSEXUAL - AMBIAMOROUS (CLOSED) - AUTISTIC - ALTERHUMAN

Hey there! You can call me Solar. I also sometimes go by Ray or Sunny but you can pretty much call me what you want, I’m not picky. I’m a hobbyist artist, occasional writer and tired dogthing who’s had the misfortune of being on this miserable hellsite (do people still call Tumblr that?) since 2014.

My blog isn’t strictly NSFW but it is suggestive. I reblog dirty shitposts often and sometimes reblog informational posts about sex and/or kink. If you’re a minor or someone who doesn’t want to see that? I wouldn’t recommend following this blog.

Feel free to use the replies on this post as a guestbook if you want! I like hearing what the people in my ‘puter have to say.

Want to know more about me or about this blog? You can find more info under the cut ✌️

The dividers in this post were made by @chocoperrito and you can find them here!

The thing that separates "alligator alcatraz" from other detainment centers is the pride being taken in it, the openness about what's going to happen there, the merch. The actual interior of the building and the conditions under which detainees will suffer are not different than other ICE detention facilities

The escalation represented by alligator Alcatraz isn't an escalation in the abuse, its an escalation in the scale at which the abuse is inflicted and in the sense of safety fascists feel when openly celebrating the abuse being inflicted

Top is new detention center, bottom are from 11 years ago. If the top is "straight up a concentration camp" then you must also accept we've had concentration camps on US soil for a long time now- this is without even addressing detention centers overseas like gitmo & abu ghraib

This is wonderful.

For people who can’t see the image for some reason:

It’s a “Dear Abby” column, published in 1995. The letter writer, “Not Looking for a Girlfriend in New Jersey,” identifies as a 53 year old male virgin with no interest in either women or men, despite coworkers having assumptions that his lack of a family means he must be gay.

This man expresses no concern about his situation (other than the presumed exhaustion at being continually misidentified), and suggests he was writing simply so other people could see that “a man who had no interest in sex” exists.

Abby blows it out of the ballpark with her response:

People who have no sexual feelings are called “asexual.” Since it doesn’t appear to bother you, it should present no problem. You are accountable to no one except yourself [emphasis mine].

Here we have the bastion of middle American, the “nice White lady with all the answers”, normalizing this man’s experience and literally telling him to ignore the haters. Pre Millennium. She even calmly supplies this man with the language to identify himself, since he seems not to have encountered it before; that must have been so empowering for him, to have a word for his experience and identity, and to hear that others shared it.

Everyone, you are valid, and your identity is accountable to no one except yourself.

lot of terfs have been reblogging this so I may as well publicly state that the woman on the right is modeled with permission after my transfemme friend. if you relate to it as strongly as many of you claim in the tags I urge you to reflect upon that with empathy and compassion about the depth of experiences you truly do share with trans women.

otherwise fuck off I guess. my art is not fuel for your hatred.

y'all not to doxx myself too hard but irl i have spent some time in my life in mental health recovery, and i am here to tell anyone who needs to hear it that people with multiples & schizophrenia & psychosis & BPD are fun and interesting and lovable people and my friends

estrogenesis-evangelion

i knew somebody in recovery who had a system of 12 personalities that he drew out in a nested chart for me. they did not remember each other's experiences. and it was cool! i could talk with one alter and then catch up another alter later about what we talked about! it was fun!

estrogenesis-evangelion

i knew a girl with psychosis who heard voices in static and running water but didn't want to get rid of them cause they never said anything distressing and they were familiar and comfortable. that's awesome! how cool is the variance of human experience??
